President Pranab Mukherjee today congratulated space agency ISRO on the successful launch of eight satellites.<br/><br/>In a message to ISRO Chairman A S Kiran Kumar, Mukherjee<br/>extended congratulations to him and his team for the successful launch of PSLV-C35 carrying advanced satellite SCATSAT-1 along with seven other co-passenger satellites from Algeria, Canada, USA and two from India yesterday.<br/><br/>The president said that the nation is proud of this important achievement which is a significant milestone in the progress of the country's space capabilities.
