President Pranab Mukherjee has condoled the loss of lives due to floods in certain areas of Assam, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. In individual messages sent to the Governors of these states, Mr Mukherjee said, he is sad to know about the heavy rains leading to floods in certain areas of the State, which have caused loss of lives, injuries and damage to property. He said, his thoughts are with all those affected by this natural calamity. The President conveyed his heartfelt condolences to families of deceased and prayers for speedy recovery of injured persons.
