President Pranab Mukherjee has called upon the Odisha Government and other agencies to take necessary steps to provide all possible help to the bereaved families as well as medical assistance to those injured in a fire mishap at the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital. <br/><br/>In a letter to the State Governor Dr. S C Jamir, Mr Mukherjee expressed confidence that the authorities will also take necessary measures to investigate the cause of the incident and put in place necessary remedial measures. <br/><br/>He also condoled the loss of lives due to a massive fire. He said his thoughts and prayers are with the injured and the families who have lost their near and dear ones. <br/><br/>Mr Mukherjee wished speedy recovery of the injured persons.
