President Pranab Mukherjee has called for more social interactions like village fairs, to counter what he called, increasing violence and intolerance all over the world. <br/><br/>Inaugurating the 28th Dantan Gramin Mela, in West Midnapore District at the confluence of Bengal, Odissa and Jharkhand borders this afternoon, Mr. Mukherjee said, human interactions need to be increased at all levels to suppress and curb the instinct of violence, intolerance and fundamentalism. <br/><br/>The President said, the spread of education is one of the surest ways of curbing violence among people.
