President Smt Pratibha Devi Singh Patil arrived at Bhubaneswar on Tuesday on a three-day visit to Orissa. This is the first visit of the President to Orissa after assuming the highest office of the Nation. She was given a warm welcome by Governor Mr MC Chandrakante Bhandare, Chief Minister Mr Naveen Patnaik and other senior officials at the Biju Patnaik Airport. The President was also given Guard of Honour by security personnel. Smt Patil is scheduled to visit the world-famous Sun Temple at Konark and Lord Jagannath Temple at Puri tomorrow<br/>morning.Meanwhile, elaborate security arrangements have been made both at the Sun Temple and Lord Jagannath Temple in view of the President’s visit. General darshan of the Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra and Lord Balabhadra by the public will be stopped during the stay of the President at the Puri Temple. Smt Patil is also scheduled to watch the art of internationally-acclaimed sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik at Puri.<br/>
