The President, Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil arrived Lucknow on a one day visit to the Uttar Pradesh. She will be the chief guest at a function on 125th anniversary of famous institution for women education Isabella Thoburn College.

The President will also release a book about the college on this occasion. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that IT College is one of the first woman Christian colleges started in the year of 1886 with the affiliation of Allahabad University and later in the year of 1922 its affiliation was shifted to Lucknow University after establishment of later.
