The President, Mrs. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil has arrived in Kolkata this evening on a three-day visit to West Bengal. The State Governor, Mr. Gopal Krishna Gandhi and the Chief Minister, Mr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee received her at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. During her stay at the City, the President will inaugurate the concluding function of the Platinum Jubilee celebration of the Indian National Science Academy at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics at Salt Lake tomorrow. AIR Kolkata Correspondent, Arijit Chakraborty reports that noted scientists across the globe will discuss on climate change, food security, energy conservation, water resources and other contemporary issues during the four day long conference. The President will also inaugurate Solar system power project at Raj Bhawan in Kolkata tomorrow evening.<br/>
