President Prathibha Devisigh Patil arrived in Hyderabad on her southern sojourn on Friday afternoon. She was accorded a warm welcome at the Begumpet airport by Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Hyderabad Mayor Karthika Reddy and several state Ministers. The President will be staying at Rastrapathi Nilayam, at Bollaram on the out skirts of Hyderabad during her sojourn till 31st of this month. It has been a customary practice for the President to have southern sojourn during December every year. During her stay, the President’s office will be functioning from Hyderabad.
