The President Mrs Pratibhadevi Singh Patil has arrived in Amritsar. She visited Golden Temple and paid obeisance in the sanctum sanctorum of the Golden Temple. Later she will participate in a function organised at Khalsa College, Amritsar. At Golden Temple she was accompanied by the Governor of Punjab Shivraj Patil, Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal. The President was honoured in the sanctum sanctorum with a Siropa.
