President has approved the appointment of Prof. Ram Shankar Katheria as the chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes.<br/><br/>The appointment of L. Murugan as Commission's vice-chairman and K Ramulu, Dr Yogendra Paswan, Swaraj Vidwan as members for a period of 3 years has also been approved by the President.
