Minister of State in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh has said, the present Government is committed for the equal development of all the areas of Jammu and Kashmir irrespective of any kind of discrimination on regional basis. <br/><br/>The Union Minister was addressing people after distributing LPG connections under Pradhan MantrI Ujjwala Scheme at Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir today. Mr Singh said, the long pending demand of establishing a radio station at Udhampur has been approved by the present Government and the Deputy Commissioner has been directed to take necessary steps in this regard.<br/><br/>Stressing on the Holy Devika Rejuvenation Project, Dr. Singh said, the project is not only important from the environment view point but the religious sentiments of the local people are also associated with it as the river is one of the most pious rivers in the country and is considered as the sister of Holy Ganges.
