India Meteorological Department, IMD on Friday said present active Western Disturbance is likely to continue to affect northwest India till May 26. Light to moderate rainfall is very likely at many places with thunderstorm, lightning and occasional gusty winds over northwest India today. Hailstorm is likely at isolated places over Uttarakhand and north Rajasthan today. There will be gradual reduction of rainfall from tomorrow. Met department has predicted light to moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning over Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura during the next 24 hours.
