Preparations are in full swing for US President Barack Obama's visit to India next week. Final touches are being given to the venues where the President is expected to stay. During his stay in Mumbai, his visit to Gandhi Museum is important as he has enormous respect for the Father of the Nation. President Obama has kept the photograph of Bapu in his Senate office and invoked his name in the Noble Peace Prize. In the national capital, the US President is scheduled to visit Rajghat-the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi to pay his respects to the apostle of peace. Reports from Washington quoting US officials say that he will participate in Diwali celebrations along with Michelle Obama in a local school in Mumbai. He also intends to talk to University students. In Mumbai, the US President will attend the business Summit organized by US-India Business Council and deliver the key note speech. During his stay in Delhi, he will hold talks with the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on a host of issues to widen and deepen the strategic cooperation between the two countries and is also expected to address with joint sittings of Parliament. India's concern at the visa restrictions for IT professionals and resuming the high technology trade are among the issues to be taken up by the Indian leadership. Partnership in the field of agriculture, space science and education will also figure prominently in the talks with Dr. Singh. He is also expected to visit some historical places in Delhi.
