<br/>Pre- Monsoon rains lashed southern part of Rajasthan on Sunday, even as north-western region of the state reeled under hot and humid conditions. According to Met office, rainfall up to 7 cm was recorded in the southern part comprising Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur, Bhilwara and Rajsamand districts.<br/> Meanwhile, the north-western region continued to reel under blistering heat wave with mercury fluctuating between 39 degree Celsius and 42 deg C. Weather office says, southwest monsoon is nearing the Gujarat-Rajasthan boarder line and could enter the state in a day or two.<br/>
