Normal life is thrown out of gear as widespread pre-monsoon rains lashed several parts of the Northeast. According to the Regional Meteorological Centre at Borjhar, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya experienced widespread showers, while scattered rainfall occurred in the rest of the region since Sunday. <br/> <br/>It has predicted more showers in most places over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh and at many places in the rest of the region in the next 24 hours. <br/> <br/>The Met office also warned that thunder squalls with hail accompanied by wind speed exceeding 60 kilometre per hour and will hit one or two places in the region. <br/>
