In Kolkata, at least 11 babies died at B. C. Roy Hospital in last 48 hours. The hospital Superintendent Dr. Dilip Roy told AIR that five new born babies died today while remaining 6 yesterday. Most of the babies were suffering from pneumonia with infection and referred to the hospital in critical condition. Dr. Roy said that most of the victims are pre-matured born with below weight.
