Former sub-junior national champion Prayag Chauhan (60kg) has marched into the final at the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships. At Shymkent, Kazakhstan, today, the 16-year-old recorded an easy win overErnis Uulu Ruslan of Kyrgyzstan. The Indian boxer is now assured of at least a silver medal in the tournament.Chauhan will stake a claim for the yellow metal in the championship round against Ilyubayev Azat of Kazakhstan on Sunday.Earlier, Chauhan had made his place in the semi-finals after beating Nozimov Mumin of Tajikistan in the quarter-finals.
