<span style="color: #222222;">The Pratiksha Trust has signed an MoU with the Indian Institute of Science and the Centre for Brain Research to commit over 450 crore rupees over the next 10 years for research, innovation and translation in deep science. This will support fundamental and translational research on neurodegenerative diseases of the elderly population.<br />'' <br />''The Pratiksha Trust established by philanthropists Kris Gopalakrishnan and Sudha Gopalakrishnan couples earlier in 2014 helped set up the Centre for Brain Research in the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru. The state of the art building of the Centre was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June of 2022. The Brain Research Centre has dedicated itself to the deep intellectual pursuit of reducing the neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer, Parkinson and Vascular Dementia. Some of the talented pool of cellular biologists, neuroscientists, clinician researchers, computational geneticists, data scientists and PhD students are involved in interdisciplinary translational research here.</span><br />
