The Chief Executive Officer of Prasar Bharati Mr. Jawhar Sircar has stressed the need for using modern technology to cater the programmes of AIR and DD to the people in a better way. Addressing two days orientation programme for newly recruited Programme Executives, Transmission Executives and Engineering Assistants of All India Radio and Doordarshan he said that the new generation will bring fresh set of thoughts in the organizations and will take on the challenges of the competitive broadcast scenario. Mr Sircar said that for the first time after Prasar Bharati came into existence, around 2 thousand fresher have joined in AIR & DD. Later he also addressed a workshop at Jadavpur University in Kolkata.
