Prasar Bharti CEO Jawahar Sircar today visited AIR Allahabad. He took round of studios and inquired about technical facilities of the unit. He also underlined importance of preservation of old audio records especially related to music, literature and radio dramas. The CEO also interacted with staff. He also planted a sapling of mango tree on this occasion. <br/><br/>Later, he visited Allahabad Museum to deliver Brijmohan Vyas annual memorial lecture on "Making Museum more Inclusive". In his lecture he narrated the importance of cultural and historical heritage with emphasis on steps to make museum essentially an attractive and important place for people. He said museum should act like a story teller. Mr Sircar also mentioned several aspects of museum projects including acquiring resources, curating expertise, sensitisation and training ,adoption of technology and redisplay of artifacts are important to make museum a place attractions.<br/><br/>He also pointed out shortcomings of skill staff in the museum. Mr Sircar said joint exercise with foreign museums are equally important aspect to make museum an inclusive place. Vice Chancellor of Allahabad University Dr R.L Hangloo also spoke on this occassion .
