The Chief Exectuvie Officer of Prasar Bharti Mr. Jawhar Sircar has said that All India Radio and Doordarshan have to meet the technical challenges to improve its programme quantum.

Inaugurating the Eastern Zonal Coordination meeting in Kolkata this morning, Mr. Sircar said that a separate recruitment board of Prasar Bharti will be set up soon after getting approval of the recruitment rules by the Union Cabinet.

He said that Prasar Bharti recruit 3,500 personnel in different cagegories in first phase to fill up the vacant posts.
