Prasar Bharati has decided to set up an empowered committee headed by its Chairperson Mrinal Pande to address the causes of failures and pinpoint responsibility in the Broadcasting Corporation.The committee has been given the mandate to restore the morale of the employees and the image of the corporation. It has been allowed to engage out side expertise to assist in coming to a conclusion.The board also initiated to decentralize decision making and link out put expectations with the powers and responsibility to the officials. According to an official release, board also discussed the Shangloo committee report along with the issues raised by the CAG in its audit report.
