Information and Broadcasting minister M Venkaiah Naidu today said that the Public broadcaster Prasar Bharati could have done much better over the years. <br/><br/>In an interview to PTI, Naidu said that there is a scope for lot of improvement in Prasar Bharati and there is need for improvement in relations between the government and Prasar Bharati.<br/><br/>He added that the government and Prasar Bharati have to work smoothly as the government is accountable to the Parliament for the money given to Prasar Bharati. He also emphasisied that at the same time,functional autonomy has to be given to Prasar Bharati.
