Prasar Bharati CEO Jawhar Sircar has offered to resign from his post. Official sources said he has written to Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu expressing his desire to quit the post before his term expires next February. Mr. Sircar was appointed on the post in 2012.
