Prasad inaugurates Indian Post's e-Commerce Parcel Processing Centre in Mumbai today

Union Minister for Communications & IT, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad inaugurated Indian Post's e-Commerce Parcel Processing Centre in Mumbai today. While, inaugurating the centre, Mr Prasad hailed the achievements of Communication and IT sector under his governance. He applauded the improved Speed Post services and Internet connectivity.<br/><br/>He said that everyone should work towards making Indian Postal service, the best e-commerce delivery. The minister said that Indian Post did a transaction of 1000 crore rupees in the cash-on-delivery process. He further said that the revenue of Indian Post has increased by 120 percent by January 2016.
