Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has asked Congress to clarify why the affidavits were changed in the Ishrat Jehan case, who was killed in an alleged fake encounter in 2004. Mr Prasad told reporters outside Parliament that daily new revelations are coming out relating to the encounter and opposition party is now maintaining silence in the matter. <br/><br/>He said the only aim of the Congress was to frame the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah on false basis in the case. He said the revelations should be probed by the concerned authorities. Mr Prasad said political interference cannot be ruled out in the entire matter.<br/> <br/>On the same issue, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, there is no doubt that the congress had fabricated the case against BJP leaders. Mr Naqvi said the party played with national security by attempting to prove terrorists like Ishrat Jehan as an innocent.
