Pranay Sahay, a 1975-batch IPS officer of Manipur-Tripura cadre, has been appointed as Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force, CRPF. The appointment will be effective from the date of his taking over the charge of the post. Mr. Sahay is presently working as Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal and is also holding the additional charge of Director General of CRPF.
