Pranab,Hasina jointly inaugurate freight train supplied to B'desh under Indian line of credit

President Pranab Mukherjee and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today jointly inaugurated the locomotives and tank wagons supplied to Bangladesh under the 800 million US Dollar line of credit provided by India. The freight train which was inaugurated today at the Dhaka cantonment railway station comprised two locomotives, twenty broad gauge tank wagons and one brake van. Following the programme, President Pranab Mukherjee left for Narail on a private visit to the ancestral home of his wife. Later in the afternoon, the President is scheduled to visit Nobel Laureate poet Gurudev Rabindrantah Tagore's house at Shilaidaha and the Kumidini Hospital complex run by the Kumudini Welfare Trust which was founded by the by the Late Rai Bahadur Ranada Prasad Shaha, before leaving for Delhi in the evening
