Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee today released a handbook on disinvestment that will provide information on entire disinvestment process starting from the Government approval to final listing of an enterprise on the stock exchanges. Releasing the handbook 'Disinvestment Through Public Offerings' in New Delhi, Mukherjee said it will prove to be useful to all parties involved in a Government disinvestment like the CPSEs, Administrative Ministries and Department of Disinvestment. He said handbook will ensure uniformity and continuity over the different issues and at the same time help to evolve and strengthen the system. The Finance Minister said the online version of the handbook will be updated regularly.
