Government on Wednesday made a fresh bid to end deadlock in Parliament after the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh said that he is ready to appear before any committee including JPC on any scam. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee met BJP leaders who insisted that JPC should be announced on next Tuesday to enable the House to function normally.Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj said after the meeting that BJP will not obstruct the President's Address on Monday. She, however, added if the JPC probe is not announced by the next day, then the proceedings will be obstructed.Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley also participated in the talks. Home Minister P Chidambaram, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad were also present.
