Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee today said if food prices continue to come down, some relief on inflation is expected. Reacting to the food inflation figures released today he said the decrease of one percentage point in inflation is a welcome sign. The Finance Minister noted that the prices of food articles have come down but prices of fuel and some other items have gone up.
