UPA Presidential candidate Pranab Mukherjee has formally sought Trinamool Congress Chairperson and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's support in the Presidential poll. Mr. Mukherjee has written a letter to Ms. Banerjee in this regard. This was disclosed by Ms. Banerjee on the facebook.

She said the party will take a decision on the issue 2-3 days before the July 19 poll. AIR correspondent reports that the Trinamool Congress has directed all its party MPs and MLAs to be present in Kolkata on the 18th of this month.
