<span style="color: #222222;">The 352nd birth anniversary of Guru Govind Singh celebrated as Prakash Utsav in various parts of the country.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Born at Patna Sahib in 1666, Guru Govind Singh was the 10th Sikh guru. He succeeded his father Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh as leader of Sikhs at the age of just nine.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">President Ram Nath Kovind has paid homage to Guru Gobind Singh. In a tweet, Mr Kovind said, the Sikh Guru devoted his life to serving the people and upholding truth, justice and compassion. He said, the example and teachings of the Guru continue to inspire people.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tributes to Guru Gobind Singh on his birth anniversary.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a tweet, Mr Modi said, Guru Gobind Singh was a divine figure full of heroism, valor, courage, sacrifice and devotion.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In an audio message, the Prime Minister said, whenever, an attempt was made to suppress the voice of the poor and the weak, Guru Gobind Singh Ji raised his voice and stood firmly with the poor.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The birth anniversary of the Guru Gobind Singh is also being celebrated as Prakashotsava at Patna Sahib. The main function is organised at Takhat Sri Harmandir Sahib Gurdwara, Patna Sahib, the birth place of Guru Gobind Singh, where thousands of pilgrims across the globe are offering prayers. Special langars are also being organised.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The birth anniversary of the Guru Gobind Singh is also being celebrated all over Punjab. Golden temple in Amritsar and all Gurudwaras of the state are illuminated.
