Senior CPI(M) leader Prakash Karat today filed a complaint with Delhi Police against TMC leader Derek O Brien for allegedly posting a morphed picture of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh offering sweets to him. <br/><br/>Mr. Karat clarified that he never had an opportunity to meet Mr. Singh and it is an attempt to defame him and his party. He also accused TMC of resorting to low level tactic by presenting a morphed picture. <br/><br/>Yesterday, the matter came into light after the TMC posted a picture on its website, following a press conference of Derek O Brien. However, later the party removed it with Mr. Brien saying that as soon as he came to know that the picture is morphed, it was removed. He had said the matter should end there. <br/><br/>BJP Secretary Siddharth Nath Singh also attacked the TMC over the issue and said the incident shows the frustration of the ruling party in West Bengal out of the fear of losing the assembly polls.
