Prakash Javdekar terms demonetization as war against black money and corruption

Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javdekar has termed demonetization as a war against black money and corruption. Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru today, he stressed that this war will continue. <br/><br/>Saying that BJP is observing the anniversary of demonetisation as anti-black money day, he noted that Congress is observing it as a black money supporting day. <br/><br/>He charged the Congress of institutionalizing corruption and supporting black money. BJP on the other hand, he said, is opposing corruption and black money and harnessing honesty and transparency in the system. <br/><br/>Mr Javdekar informed that during the last three and half years, government has taken many decisions which are yielding results now. After demonetization over three lakh 68 crore rupees was deposited in 23 lakh accounts, and 17 lakh transactions don't match with the tax profile of the depositor. Further, he said One lakh transactions are highly suspicious and the scrutiny is going on.
