Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar today inaugurated the day long National Consultation on Revised Accreditation Framework in New Delhi today. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion,Mr Javadekar stressed on quality education and said any accreditation or assessment process must take into account the final product of it. He said, the aim of education should be to build a good human being and only that kind of education could be termed as creative. He said, now there is need of complete transformation of education. <br/><br/>The Minister advised the National Assessment and Accreditation Council- NAAC authorities to expand its team in order to make inroads into reaching out more and more institutions. He also stressed upon the cross checking of data collected and ensure sanctity and authenticity of data base created in this area.Mr Javadekar also suggested for having more than four to five agencies for issuing rankings of higher education institutes as it will give more credibility.Our correspondent reports that the consultation was organized to discuss the revised Accreditation Framework developed recently by the NAAC. <br/><br/>The focus of the revised framework is to augment use of technology, greater objectivity, and transparency of the process. The inputs of the National Consultation would be used to fine-tune and finalise the revised Accreditation Framework which is slated to be launched in July this year. <br/><br/>
