Union Human Resources Minister Prakash Javadekar today inaugurated the first academic session of Mahatma Gandhi Central University at Motihari in East Champaran district of Bihar. Addressing function Mr. Javadekar said the Central University would realise the dreams of Mahatma Gandhi in 1917 during freedom struggle movement and laid the foundation for basic education in Champaran. He said 395 students have been admitted to various courses in this University. <br/><br/>Mr. Javadekar said the University will not only stop the exodus of students for higher education out of the state but will bring alive this bordering district once all facilities are introduced. Union Human Resources Minister hoped that this university would emerge as a global educational institution.
