Pragati Maidan has been declared as plastic Free Zone during the ongoing India International Trade Fair at New Delhi. As a result, no exhibitor is allowed to use plastic bags inside the premises. Instead eco-friendly bags made of paper, cloth, jute are being used by the traders and visiting businesspersons. The bags are available at nominal prices through outlets at the fair.<br/><br/>The entire fair ground has also been declared a 'No Smoking Zone'.
