The Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Mr Praful Patel has urged all stakeholders to work towards transforming India in to a manufacturing hub.

He said, to ensure the growth of the country dependence on service sector alone is not enough and it is important to focus on the manufacturing sector.

Mr Patel said this while inaugurating the National Conference on Emerging opportunities for the Capital Goods industry in New Delhi.

Mr. Patel also underlined the need for unleashing opportunities available in public sector enterprises as they play a crucial role in the development of the country.
