Mizoram Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation C. Lalrinsanga has said that  Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana will be effective for boosting income of tribal people in the state. The State Government has taken proactive initiatives to bring the benefits under the PMVDY to the under-privileged people including the farmers.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Lalrinsanga said that the scheme will be a very effective scheme in uplifting the economy of the people living in the fringe of forest and also the farmers. While launching the Van Dhan Vikas Kendra at Aizawl, the Minister applauded the Central Government for launching various schemes including the Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana. The objective of the PMVDY scheme is to help increase income of the beneficiaries through value addition of traditional tribal products.  <br />
