Railways today flagged off new 'Humsafar Express' between Sriganganagar and Tiruchirapalli. The train service was inaugurated by Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu via video conferencing in New Delhi. <br/><br/>The new train is fully air-conditioned third AC service with an optional service for meals. So far, three Humsafar Express trains have been introduced by the Railways. <br/><br/>The minister also flagged off An Antyodaya Express between Ernakulam and Howrah. Antyodaya Express is long-distance, fully unreserved, super fast train service for the common man to be operated on dense routes. <br/>AIR correspondent reports that in order to provide end to end parcel services to the customers, certain sectors have been identified in which the parcel traffic offered by postal department can be transported by Indian Railways.
