<br/>In Assam, a powerful blast rocked in the busy fancy bazar area of Guwahati city last evening. There was however, no casulty nor damage. The alert policemen on duty noticed the unclaimed plastic bag under a bush cart near the Sani temple adjacent to the Central jail and suspecting it an IED bomb, the security men dumped it with sand bags. <br/><br/>The policemen immediately alerted the people to vacate the place. The bomb went off before arrival of the bomb squad. Police have suspected the blast as the handiwork of the NDFB militants. Meanwhile, security has been placed on high alert in the entire Guwahati city after the blast. Police have also launched a massive manhunt in the city to apprehend the culprit.
