Power Ministry has electrified 276 villages across the country last week under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojna. An official release said, 139 villages belong to Assam, 25 villages to Bihar, 21 to Jharkhand, 60 to Odisha, 30 to Uttar Pradesh and one village fall in Rajasthan. <br/><br/>Centre has decided to electrify remaining 18,452 un-electrified villages by the first of May, 2018. AIR correspondent reports 'GARV' Mobile App was launched by Power Minister Piyush Goyal recently for providing real time updated data of ongoing electrification process to all users and stakeholders.
