Power demand in Delhi increasing 8 per cent annually: Sheila Dikshit

Delhi Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit has said the demand of power in national capital has been increasing at an annual rate of around 8 per cent.

Inaugurating a new power sub-station in the national capital, Mrs. Dikshit said to keep pace with the rising demand, the power companies have to strengthen their networks. She said government is committed to improve power condition in the city.

The 220 KV sub-station has been set up by Delhi Transco Limited near the Kasturba Gandhi Marg at a cost of over 58 crore rupees.
