Planning Commission member Abhijit Sen has warned that poverty in Bihar is not declining despite its change and developing fast. He said in Patna today that it is a matter of serious concern that there is no decline in poverty in Bihar despite a high rate and development. He said this was clearly stated in the Sample Survey Organisation report. Sen said the state government should work hard to ensure law and order, maintaining of fiscal responsibility, good governance and energy. He said energy deficit is the major hurdle and roadblock for Bihar in moving forward. The state government should focus on energy.
