The postponement of the 105th Annual session of Indian Science Congress has no relation to the Prime Minister's visit to the event. Official sources said it is incorrect to attribute the postponement to the Prime Minister's visit. <br/><br/>The session is being postponed due to the unwillingness of the host Osmania University, Hyderabad on account of certain issues in the campus. The Executive Committee of Indian Science Congress Association will be meeting on 27 of this month to decide on the future course of action.<br/><br/>The Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), at the request of Osmania University, had chosen it as the Host Institution for hosting the Session to be held from 3rd to 7th of January, 2018.<br/>
