The Home ministry has clarified that the letter written to the West Bengal Chief Minister was sent by Speed Post on 22nd of this month. Reacting to reports appeared in a section of media, it said the letter should have been delivered by the evening of 24th of this month, a working day. But the letter has been delayed and postal department has apologised for the delay.
