A post office equipped with latest technology has been opened at Kargil, near the Line of Control, by the Department of Posts.

After inaugurating the building Chief Postmaster General, Jammu and Kashmir, John Samuel said that the post office at Kargil will provide services like Speed Post, eMO, ePost, iMO and Savings Bank.
