NDA Presidential Candidate Ram Nath Kovind said, the post of the President and Governor are above politics and taking side to any political party after being on the post would be unconstitutional. Mr. Kovind said, this while addressing BJP members of Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly in Itanagar today. <br/><br/>He said, in front of the Constitution every state, individual and religion are equal. Mr. Kovind said, that in 2022 India will celebrate 75 years of independence and he envisages by then India should become a new and developed India, including the North Eastern States. Later, after the meeting with the BJP legislature, Mr. Kovind also had a meeting with the PPA legislatures at State guest house. This is the first ever visit by any presidential candidate to Arunachal Pradesh.
