South Korean steel giant, Posco, has blamed Odisha Government for the delay in setting up of the 12 million tonne per annum steel plant near Paradip in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha. Posco-India chairman-cum-managing director Yong-Won Yoon expressed regrets over non-lifting of restriction by police on entering the project site despite several requests. He said at Paradip that the delay could lead to about 20 per cent cost escalation.
